Airport Terminal Services (ATS) is pleased to announce five contract wins including, on October 1st, three simultaneous transitions that were successfully completed during a busy fall season of new contract transitions and starts.

On October 1st, ATS opened its 38th location when it assumed responsibility for provision of passenger services for Lufthansa at Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport (DTW). Lufthansa operates out of the new DTW North Terminal. ATS assumed responsibility not only for passenger handling, but also for provision of customer service inside Lufthansa’s spacious and modern Senator Lounge. This represents the 6th active passenger handling contract awarded by Lufthansa to ATS.

Also on October 1st, ATS began provision of full ground handling including passenger and ramp services to Air India at Toronto – L.B. Pearson International Airport (YYZ). The Terminal 1 operation supports a daily B777-300ER flight. This is the first Air India contract for ATS.

In a hometown win for ATS, Frontier Airlines entrusted their ramp operations at Lambert – St. Louis International Airport (STL) in a transition process that took place on October 1st. Frontier also recently announced a multi-year agreement to provide Apple Vacations with charter flights from STL to international destinations. We look forward to supporting Frontier in a successful expansion of their STL operation.

On September 22nd, ATS assumed ramp handling at Portland International Airport (PDX) for Spirit Airlines who launched two daily non-stop flights between Portland, Oregon and Las Vegas.

ATS currently provides a comprehensive portfolio of airport services to Air France – KLM in YYZ and is delighted to add YUL air cargo warehouse staffing to its responsibilities.
