ATS is First in Las Vegas to be ISAGO Registered

Airport Terminal Services (ATS) is pleased to announce that it has received the IATA Safety Audit for Ground Operations (ISAGO) registration for its Corporate office in St. Louis and is the first Ground Service Provider to be registered at Las Vegas – McCarran International Airport (LAS).

ATS services audited by the ISAGO Auditing Airline at LAS include Baggage Handling, Aircraft Handling and Loading, Aircraft Ground Movement, Organization and Management.

The implementation of ISAGO aims to improve safety and cut airline costs by drastically reducing ground accidents and injuries. The benefits to airlines, ground handlers, regulatory and airport authorities include but are not limited to:

  • Safer ground operations, less accidents and injuries
  • Uniform audit process and harmonized standards
  • Improved safety oversight
  • Harmonized auditor training and qualifications

Commenting on the award, ATS President and C.O.O. Sally Leible said “ISAGO registry confirms what our customers already know; that ATS has a robust safety management system and quality control program in place. We are proud of the efforts of the ATS team who are responsible for delivering our Safety and Quality Assurance programs. Las Vegas is a great success for us and the perfect choice for our inaugural ISAGO station. We are proud to be the first ground service provider at LAS to be ISAGO registered. We now look forward to the strategic implementation of ISAGO in further locations in the ATS network across North America”
