ATS announces contract award from British Airways in Toronto

Airport Terminal Services (ATS) is pleased to announce that British Airways has appointed ATS as their ramp handling agent at Toronto L.B. Pearson International Airport’s Terminal 3.

The multi-year contract transitioned BA’s full ramp and cabin cleaning services to ATS on January 6th, 2011.

BA operates 2 daily widebody flights connecting Toronto to its hub at London Heathrow. BA is one of the world’s leading scheduled premium international airlines. BA, its codeshare and franchise partners, fly to more than 300 destinations worldwide.

ATS President and Chief Operating Officer Sally Leible, said: “We start 2011 with the addition of our newest customer, British Airways. This win is a very special one and commences a relationship that ATS has sought for some time. Toronto is our model operation for international carrier, widebody aircraft handling. What’s most exciting to me is that British Airways entrusted one of their key North American gateways to ATS for our first contract with them. We now have the opportunity to build on this relationship from this important platform.”
