Lufthansa awards ATS rating of Excellent in the Americas for PDX
Airport Terminal Services (ATS) is pleased to announce that it has received a ground-handling quality award from Lufthansa German Airlines for performance at Portland International Airport (PDX), Oregon.
The award was presented to ATS President and Chief Operating Officer, Sally A. Leible, at the annual IATA Ground Handling Council and Ground Operations Symposium in Cairo, Egypt in May.
The award recognizes ATS for outstanding performance in handling quality during 2008 in Lufthansa’s Americas
region, covering more than two dozen stations. ATS provides full ramp handling and cabin cleaning service to
Lufthansa in PDX.
Sally Leible, President of ATS, commented,” I couldn’t be more proud of the men and women of
Lufthansa and ATS at PDX for this wonderful and well deserved recognition. They have set the example of
how a finely tuned and fully integrated team can join together to achieve service excellence!”
