Airport Butler Wins First Place at Airport Council International Awards

VANCOUVER, BC December 2, 2013 - Airport Butler, the meet-and-greet concierge service launched in 2012, was recognized as the Best New Consumer Service Concept by Airport Council International-North America (ACI-NA). The first place award was announced November 12th at the 2013 ACI-NA Airport Concessions Conference in Sacramento, California.

Airport Butler is centered at the Vancouver International Airport (YVR) and contracted by Vancouver Airport Authority to be the first official meet-and-greet multi-carrier provider in a North American airport. The hands-on customer service model is ideal for any passenger needing assistance when traveling through the airport.

The service offers a level of comfort and reassurance for infrequent travelers and travel groups passing through Canada Border Services, U.S. Customs, or airport security lines. The Airport Butler greeters speak multiple languages and can help non-English speaking travelers easily navigate through the airport.
